Custom Furnishings: The Hotel Republic

An exclusive address gets some new accessories courtesy of GreenBridge Furnishings.

We are proud to announce the completion of our recent installation at the Hotel Republic in San Diego. Part of the Autograph Collection of hotels, the Hotel Republic prides itself on a fresh and inspired sense of place. With a nod to the history of the neighborhood it resides in, the Hotel Republic features an eclectic style that takes a bit of influence from bohemian textures and materials and updates them through a thoroughly modern lens. The opportunity to collaborate with the hotel’s design team to create completely custom furnishings for such an impressive backdrop was an amazing opportunity for us to deliver on partnership and design. GreenBridge helped to furnish and create three unique spaces within the hotel experience.

For the dining terrace, we created custom dining chairs and tables. The dining chairs feature a geometric design with white powder coated steel frames that add texture and style, while still keeping an airy and open feel. Cheery and bold orange accent cushions add comfort and personality, highlighting the color of the exterior brickwork. These chairs are durable enough for outdoor use, but don’t sacrifice any sense of style. The dining tables feature faux concrete table tops that are actually made from 80% recycled paper.

The veranda got it’s own set of seating with a twist. Here we used powder coated steel for the frames of the chairs, but wrapped them in rope to add a warmer texture. The rope frame and woven sides of the chairs add a hint of vintage inspiration to the environment. Teak seats bring warmth and depth to the color palette. The sleek and minimal chair legs and faux concrete table tops ensure the space maintains a fresh and modern feel.

For the veranda’s lounge area, we carried over the teak material from our dining chairs, creating a comfortable sitting area with a warm feel. The lines of the love seat and chair feature classic modern inspiration paired with a unique modern perspective. We added plush cushions to invite guests to lounge in comfort.

As with all of our projects, our passion starts with our love of design and our expertise shines in our ability to source materials, manage production, coordinate installation, and bring concepts to reality.
